About InflexionBI

We built the tool we kept wishing someone else would build.

One of us spent 15 years on the company side of MedTech acquisitions and capital raises. The other built the platform that turns that experience into something any CFO or founder can use. This is what we made.

How this started

Justin spent 15 years inside MedTech companies doing the same thing on every deal: building Excel models, hunting for comparable exits from whatever data he could piece together, and trying to figure out what a company was actually worth and how hard that number would be to defend. He did it at Axonics as VP of FP&A while the company scaled to $500M in revenue and through its $3.7B acquisition by Boston Scientific. He did it as a fractional CFO preparing early-stage device companies for capital raises. He did it at Endovascular Engineering, where he led the oversubscribed $80M Series C round.

No clean tool existed for it. So he built his own. Over time, the Excel models got more structured: acquisition comps organized by sector, stage, rationale, and acquirer; valuation benchmarks with real IQR bands; a view of which objections buyers raise most often and how deals that cleared navigated them. When he started sharing these models with other founders and CFOs preparing for their own processes, they all said the same thing: where has this been?

That reaction is what turned a private set of spreadsheets into a product. Luke built it. He left his role as an actuarial analyst to design and engineer InflexionBI from scratch: the Acquisition Readiness Score that tracks how your positioning changes over time as your company evolves, the Comparable Exit Benchmarking that plots your target valuation against 25 real deals with IQR bands and a stated clearing probability, the Objection Risk Assessment that ranks what buyers will come at you with and scores how hard each one will be to defend, the Acquirer-Specific Attack Surface that tells you what each likely buyer has paid in the past and exactly where they push back, and the VC Insights tools that score investor fit and model valuation for companies still on the funding path.

We built InflexionBI because we know what it costs to walk into one of these conversations without it.
